About Us

 

The Bedrock Clinic & Research Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit clinic located in South Plainfield, NJ. Our clinic provides an ideal center for our comprehensive program model. Three classrooms, an indoor play area, a space for small groups, and office space, provide our staff and clients with a facility where we can work together to create meaningful outcomes.

 

Why "Bedrock"?

 

Many people are intrigued by our name, we are frequently asked, "Did you call it Bedrock because of the Flinstones?", followed by a chuckle by all. Actually , "bedrock" itself is a bit more significant and complex than the Flinstones. Bedrock is defined as, "consolidated rock underlying the surface of a terrestrial planet, usually the Earth". We adopted this concept to convey the application of what we produce, which is a solid foundation of skills, which leads to better and more independent  lives for our clients.
